Additional or replacement apartment keys, building access Key and carpark remote access can be ordered by the following:

  • Renters
  • Please contact your real estate agent or landlord to get the keys
  • Owner Occupiers
  • Get the keys through Body Corporate Services (BCS)

Utility Services

Meters and other utility infrastructure can be accessed by qualified technicians between the hours of 7.30AM and 3.30PM Monday to Friday. They just need to report to the Building manager or caretaker before you start work, show ID and sign in.

Moving Rules and Guidelines

#1 Booking Moving

  • You will not be able to move in or out of Metropol Apartments unless a booking has been made
  • The moving in or out times for Metropol Apartments are 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 11 am Saturday and Sunday
  • You can book up to 3 hours
  • Must give a minimum of 24 hours notice for a booking

#2 Removalist and Parking

  • Your removalist must provide a copy of their Public Liability Insurance Policy. If the removalist does not provide their insurance details they will not be allowed to enter the premises. This is a public liability risk issue
  • An Indemnity form must be signed by the removalist. Should your removalist refuse to sign the Indemnity Form, they will not be able to enter the premises
  • Vehicles must not obstruct the car park entry
  • There is a loading zone in Canterbury Road that can be used while moving

#3 Moving

  • If your apartment comes with a car park then you can move using that. Maximum height 2 meters
  • Report to the Building manager or caretaker before you start moving in to get your lift locked off
  • All furniture and boxes must go straight from the truck or van into the lift and from the lift straight into the apartment. Nothing is to be left in the foyers
  • Nothing is to be placed against common area walls
  • Nothing is to be placed in front of stairwell entrances, service cupboards and emergency doors

PARCELS

The Care taker will take delivery of small to medium size parcels.
The parcel weight must not exceed 12 kg.
Parcel dimensions should not exceed 40cm x 40cm x 40cm.
A photo ID is required when collecting parcels.
Parcels can only be held for 10 days, after this time they will be returned to sender.
While the up most care is taken with your parcels we do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage.
